- On the occasion of his 70th birthday, the journal at-Automatisierungstechnik has dedicated a special issue to the former head of IAI, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Georg Bretthauer, for his extraordinary merits in the field of automation and control. Contributions from former students point out the strong influence of his work to the community. Dieter Westerkamp (VDI), as well as Ralf Mikut and Veit Hagenmeyer (IAI), combine their congratulations to his birthday with a detailed appreciation of his work.
