Entomology is currently experiencing a renaissance driven by innovative approaches such as the “Diversity Scanner”. The scientific community is increasingly recognizing the relevance of this discipline to addressing global challenges such as climate change and species loss. Projects like those led by Rudolf Meier and Christian Pylatiuk demonstrate how modern technologies—from artificial intelligence to robotics—are transforming the way we assess biodiversity and providing a solid foundation for the conservation of our ecosystems.
