Matthias Hertel and Sebastian Pütz won the Best Paper Award at the conference “DACH+ Energy Informatics 2026” in Linz, for their paper titled “A Benchmark for Electrical Load Forecasting Across Grid Levels: Time-Series Transformers Outperform Established Methods”.

The paper is the result of a collaboration of the IAI’s research groups ML4TIME led by Ralf Mikut and DRACOS led by Benjamin Schäfer and it is published in „Energy Informatics Review“.
