The IAI welcomes Ms. Çiğdem Yalçın from the Istanbul University (İstanbul Üniversitesi) as International Excellence Fellow of KIT at the institute. She will be conducting research in the period from October 2023 to January 2024 within the Data-driven analysis of complex systems (DRACOS) group, which is lead by TT-Prof. Dr. Benjamin Schäfer.
Ms. Yalçın is Associate Professor at the Physics Department in the Faculty of Sciences at Istanbul University and her main research areas are nonlinear dynamics, and statistical physics of complex systems, including mathematical modeling of complex systems and interdisciplinary applications. This is her first stay at the IAI.
