On Wednesday midday, 12 November 2025, the MINToring team organized an excursion to EnBW in Karlsruhe. Our mentors and mentees were warmly welcomed by Mr. Hellmuth, the Head of Research and Development.

In a concise and engaging presentation, Mr. Hellmuth introduced EnBW’s future energy planning, key research priorities, and both current and upcoming R&D projects. The participants gained practical insights into how innovation and sustainability will shape the energy sector in the years ahead.

During the subsequent discussion and Q&A session, mentors and mentees had the opportunity to ask questions and received valuable insights into technical topics and potential career paths.

This event highlights the mission of the MINToring program: to connect female students with real-world practice early on and support them on their path into technical and scientific careers.
