Research data are the basis and result of scientific work. The basic principles of good research data management (RDM) and good scientific practice therefore include a systematic approach to the collection and, if necessary, subsequent use and evaluation of data, as well as to their storage and accessibility.

The course offers a concise introduction to the basics and aspects of research data management with the associated terms, most important models and processes and of course some helpful tools.

An intensive workshop with in-depth practical insights into some of the services and tools presented at KIT as part of the KHYS continuing education program entitled "Research Data Management Elaborated with Tools and Services at KIT" takes place on March 28, 2023 in English.

This workshop is open to doctoral researchers and postdocs at KIT who are KHYS members.
