  • Fabian Neumann receives funding from the Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) for scientific exchange with the Pontifical University of Comillas in Madrid.

    Through the so-called "Networking Grant" of the Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS), doctoral students and postdocs of the KIT are given the opportunity to visit internationally renowned persons or working groups in their field and for their research or doctoral projects. The aim is to encourage young researchers to establish international contacts and to build up a personal network.

    The KHYS offers comprehensive support from the idea to the establishment of a contact as well as financial support in the form of a travel allowance up to a maximum of 1,500 €.

    Fabian Neumann plans to visit the working group of Prof. Sara Lumbreras at the Pontifical University of Comillas in Madrid to discuss methods and algorithms of transmission expansion planning in highly renewable energy systems.
