We congratulate PD Dr.-Ing. Lutz Gröll on his appointment as Extraordinary Professor (apl. Prof.) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Mr. Lutz Gröll is head of the working group System Theory and Control in the Research Area of Advanced Automation Technologies at the Institute for Automation and Applied Informatics. He received the Venia Legendi in 2014 after submitting his habilitation thesis Methodik zur Integration von Vorwissen in die Modellbildung. The certificate of appointment as an apl. Professor was presented to Mr. Gröll by Dean Prof. Proppe during the faculty colloquium on February 7, 2020.
