Innovative scientific results of research must be transferred into industrial practice. However, reliability and robustness under all conceivable conditions in 24-hour operation play a major role. Here, the working group is active in the software engineering of these tools based on the programming language Ada and modeling with UML, among others. Since 1999, the "inspect pro control" system has been continuously developed together with industrial partners and is in use worldwide.
